🔸 BitVM2-GC 🔸

GOAT Network introduced BitVM2-GC with DV-SNARK as the next step in its BitVM2 roadmap, aiming to combine BTC-denominated yield with @Bitcoin-native security: https://www.goat.network/blog/goat-network-introduces-bitvm2-gc-with-dv-snark

The approach builds on BitVM by using garbled circuits and a zkVM-based DV-SNARK verifier to reduce on-chain fraud-proof data by roughly 1000×.

This lowers block space usage, cuts costs, and moves GOAT closer to a Bitcoin L2 secured directly by Bitcoin, while improving withdrawal challenge efficiency and off-chain storage requirements.

Goat Network completed its Osaka upgrade, integrating @ethereum’s Fusaka hard fork through go-ethereum v1.16.7 and enabling all Fusaka features: https://www.goat.network/blog/goat-network-osaka-upgrade

The upgrade improves scalability, security, and RPC performance, while increasing gas limits for more complex applications. It also introduces economic model adjustments that significantly lower transaction fees and recalibrate block rewards to support sustainable network growth.

The integration allows customers to buy BTC with fiat through DitoBanx and earn yield via GOAT Network’s Safebox while retaining full self-custody.

The three-month pilot offers a 1.5% APY, with principal and yield accessible at completion, and is expected to expand to additional DitoBanx markets.

🔸 GOAT Vanguard 🔸

Finally, GOAT Network has opened applications for the second cohort of its GOAT Vanguard ambassador program following a strong first quarter: https://www.goat.network/blog/goat-vanguard-opens-its-second-ambassador-cohort-after-a-strong-first-quarter

The initiative brings together creators and community contributors to support BTCFi education and ecosystem growth. Round Two introduces updated participation requirements, on-chain activity tracking, tiered ambassador levels, and performance-based rewards, with applications closing on December 18th.
