‍Featuring: @aztecnetwork, @KakarotZkEvm, @LineaBuild, @malda_xyz, @0xPolygon, @reddio_com, @Scroll_ZKP, @Starknet, @taikoxyz, @ZircuitL2, & @zksync.

Aztec

Publications

@aztecnetwork shared a detailed article explaining how @payy_link migrated its privacy-focused payment network from Halo2 to @NoirLang without disrupting service or risking funds: https://aztec.network/blog/just-write-if-why-payy-left-halo2-for-noir

The move reduced its ZK codebase from thousands of lines to 250, cut development time from months to weeks, and improved proving speed.

With Noir, the entire team can maintain the system rather than relying on one developer, making auditing simpler and safer. Payy now has faster, more transparent, and more flexible infrastructure.

Events

@stakedeve, Head of BD at Aztec, will take part in Verifying Intelligence, a side event during @token2049 week in Singapore, co-organized by @HouseofZK & @boundless_xyz in partnership with @googlecloud: https://x.com/HouseofZK/status/1970784492898914306

Together with @kashviETH of Boundless, @FormallyJon of @VeridiseInc, @raindylu of @OntologyNetwork, and @remi_gai of @inconetwork, he will discuss how ZKPs can balance privacy with compliance frameworks and define the future potential of this technology.

Kakarot

@KakarotZkEvm, in collaboration with @hyli_org, has released FibRace, a mobile app on iOS and Android running until Sep 30: https://x.com/KakarotZkEvm/status/1966169661554438158

Players generate Fibonacci numbers, prove them locally with Cairo M, and submit proofs automatically to Hyli while competing globally.

The project serves as the first large-scale benchmark of ZKP performance on mobile devices, producing data that supports cryptography research and the development of broader mobile privacy technologies.

Linea

@LineaBuild has partnered with @Lamina1official to launch Spaces, a platform for creator-owned media and interactive storytelling on @ethereum: https://x.com/LineaBuild/status/1970517081625108875

Built on Linea’s zkEVM and secured with the @VeraxRegistry attestation system, the collaboration gives artists and developers control over their intellectual property while connecting directly with communities.

The first project, Artefact, introduces an immersive role-playing world shaped by players’ choices.

Malda

@malda_xyz published a detailed article covering the challenges of legacy lending in DeFi, highlighting how fragmented deployments across blockchains create hidden costs: https://x.com/malda_xyz/status/1968690869151645939

These include weaker yields for lenders, higher borrowing costs, and value lost to slippage and gas fees. The article also emphasizes a “complexity tax,” where opportunities are missed due to complicated processes.

By contrast, unified lending pools liquidity, lowers costs, simplifies transactions, and delivers fairer, more efficient returns for all participants.

Polygon

Tech

@0xPolygon released the Rio upgrade on testnet ahead of its mainnet launch in October: https://polygon.technology/blog/rio-upgrade-live-on-testnet-polygon-continues-to-go-gigagas

The upgrade redesigns validator operations for efficiency, adds stateless block verification to cut costs, and removes reorgs. It also introduces validator-elected block producers, a new fee model, and lighter node requirements.

Rio positions Polygon PoS to scale toward 5,000 transactions per second while preserving decentralization and enabling long-term network growth.

Partnerships

Polygon has partnered with @cypher_capital to expand institutional access to POL in the Middle East: https://polygon.technology/blog/cypher-capital-and-polygon-labs-forge-institutional-bridge-for-pol-access

Cypher Capital has taken a strategic POL position and will channel capital into liquidity and yield-generation strategies. The collaboration aims to enhance network growth, credibility, and institutional adoption, while Polygon advances upgrades to support high-frequency settlements and cross-border capital flows.

Reddio

@reddio_com announced the upcoming launch of Reddio Pay, a new payment solution designed for businesses and AI developers: https://x.com/reddio_com/status/1966518203321811161

The platform will enable instant and global acceptance of stablecoins, aiming to simplify transactions across industries.

Reddio Pay:

• Is built for AI coding use cases

• Offers real-time updates

• Supports multiple blockchains

• Backed by developer-first APIs

Scroll

@Scroll_ZKP announced a restructuring of the Scroll DAO to improve efficiency while keeping user funds fully secure: https://x.com/Scroll_ZKP/status/1968533194732642654

Under the updated model, the DAO will report to the Foundation, which retains veto authority and oversight, while councils gain independence and closer collaboration with Scroll teams. Treasury resources will be allocated annually or biannually.

Current proposals will continue, and a new constitution will be drafted with community input, targeted for approval before Jan 2026.

Starknet

The Starknet Re{solve} Hackathon

@Starknet is hosting the Re{Solve} Hackathon, running until mid-October with more than $50,000 in prizes: https://x.com/Starknet/status/1966475507827872169

Developers are already building projects in areas such as @Bitcoin, payments, privacy, and gaming, while new participants can still join. The network emphasizes its low fees, fast transactions, and smooth user experience.

Suggested concepts include Bitcoin-first dApps, privacy solutions, a market-neutral BTC vault, and simplified yield applications.

Integrations

Starknet now supports @due_network, a global payments solution enabling fast cross-border transfers, remittances, and wallet connections: https://starknet.io/blog/global-payments-settled-fast-on-starknet-powered-by-due/

Available in more than 80 countries, it supports over 30 fiat currencies and stablecoins including USDC, EURC, and USDT. Users can access multi-currency accounts, low conversion fees, and free USDC transfers.

Operated with regulated partners and SOC 2-grade security, Due allows funds to move seamlessly between local systems and stablecoins.

Taiko

@taikoxyz has integrated @chainlink Data Streams as the official oracle infrastructure on its @alethiataiko network: https://taiko.mirror.xyz/s45LBZf_0OwIRc4j2kJv0hFAJG1hEvxL4g94OcXraiI

The move gives developers access to secure, high-fidelity market data to build advanced DeFi applications such as lending and derivatives platforms. As a based rollup, Taiko relies on @ethereum validators for transaction sequencing, supporting decentralization and censorship resistance.

The partnership also enables institutional-grade use cases, including tokenized assets, while allowing U.S. Department of Commerce macroeconomic data to be published on-chain.

Zircuit

@ZircuitL2 has opened applications for a new grants round to support developers building on its ecosystem: https://zircuit.com/blog/zircuit-launches-new-grants-round-for-builders

The program offers two tracks: the Super App Track with two grants of $135,000 each, and the Ecosystem Track with five grants of $45,000 each.

Applicants must submit projects via GitHub, with funding released in stages tied to milestones.

ZKsync

@zksync announced it co-led a $19 million Series A funding round for decentralized exchange @grvt_io, alongside @further, @eigenlayer, and @500GlobalVC: https://x.com/zksync/status/1969099840241148225

GRVT, built on the ZKsync Stack, uses ZKPs to combine speed, scalability, and privacy in onchain trading. The platform offers a central limit order book model, perpetuals, and structured products while keeping positions private.

Funding will support engineering, new products, community incentives, and global expansion, deepening GRVT’s integration into the ZKsync ecosystem.
